About the book
When the will to change meets visionary entrepreneurship...
The future is becoming less and less plannable and predictable. Wondering what you can do to prepare yourself and your employees for it? Visioneering shows which elements matter for an innovative company that wants to shape the future.
Every bookshelf holds business guides that tell you what successful companies should look like. Guides tell founders and entrepreneurs what is essential for professional success, and on YouTube there are more and more ad clips with some consultants promising you the "10 best tips for success". If it’s that easy, why isn’t everyone successful? Why aren’t we all fit and healthy when there are countless nutrition and fitness guides?
For a very simple reason: because reality looks different. Most people don’t want change because they’re happy with the status quo. But the status quo no longer moves us forward. The pandemic and war have shown us how important it is for a company to be able to react quickly to change. Many couldn’t and preferred to complain. But what does it take? What can companies (and entrepreneurs) do, very concretely, to build teams and a culture that drive change instead of just reacting to it?
Life itself tells the best stories! And that’s why, in my new book, I take you on a journey into the unplannable and unpredictable reality of the business and startup world. We get to know the exciting stories of people who drive change. We learn more about the measures companies take to get fit for a future that is less and less plannable.
For this, I met people from Germany and lived and worked in Silicon Valley for a few months. Look forward to stories that will move every "Visioneer"!
“I didn‘t want to be in the business of playing it safe. I wanted to be in the business of creating possibilities for greatness.”
— Former CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Robert Iger
