How web design can help you get your audience excited about your next presentation

Let me say this up front: I'm an engineer, heart and soul. I know that we engineers aren't designers per se, but still, one thing keeps striking me about presentations: they are boring, tiring, uninspired and raise more questions than they answer. So many smart minds sometimes create the least informative PowerPoint presentations. And why? Because they're far too deep in the details. Here, I'd like to share a few thoughts from modern web design and how they can help you sell your own thoughts and ideas better in great presentations.
